This week on the podcast I interviewed Jerry Jones.

Jerry is of the nation’s top expert on professional practice marketing with over 20 years experience, Jerry spends most of his time developing marketing and advertising strategies for his limited number of private clients and ClearPath Society Members.

In short, Jerry knows what it takes to successfully own and operate a dental office in an area with high competition and in the ever-changing dental landscape. For example, during the 2008 financial collapse, his office maintained double-digit year-over-year growth.

This week on the podcast I had a great conversation with Dr. Drew Byrnes.

Dr. Drew Byrnes is a family and cosmetic dentist in Winter Park, FL, a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry and a Central Florida native. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. He believes in treating people the way that he would want to be treated.

We talked about a topic that so many dentists are interested in which is trading a fee for service.

We discussed:

  • The story that's led Drew to where he is today including why he bought his practice only one year out of dental school
  • Drew's website and why it's important to show people in your community who you are and the importance of branding
  • Buying a practice and how important it can be to make changes gradually so that you don't alienate your current patient base

This week on the Delivering WOW podcast I had a really good conversation with a very good friend of mine, Dr Mark Costes.  The podcast was totally impromptu, in fact, I was actually in my car when we recorded it.

For those of you who don't know Dr. Mark Costes, he is far from a typical dentist and dental coach. During his career, Mark has been able to start or acquire over a dozen successful dental practices during some of the profession’s most challenging times. Mark is the International and #1 Amazon Best Selling Author of the book 'Pillars of Dental Success'. He is the founder of the Dental Success Institute, a company committed to helping dentists to achieve their full potential, while recapturing their passion for dentistry.

This week on the Delivering WOW podcast I interviewed a really good friend of mine, Dr. Chris Bowman.

We talked all about how you can treat more patients,  grow your practice, increase profits and integrate additional services into your practice.

Dr. Chris Bowman is a full-time practicing dentist, speaker, author, and dental coach from Charlotte, North Carolina.  A graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, he started Advanced Dentistry of Charlotte in 1996, where he currently collects among the top 5% of dentists nationally.

Chris also serves as a Clinical Instructor for Six Month Smiles since 2011.  Focal points in his private practice include elective cosmetic dentistry, esthetic restorative dentistry, Six Month Smiles adult orthodontics, aligner orthodontics, Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation, Obstructive Sleep Apnea treatment, and sedation dentistry.

A consummate student of business systems, communications and marketing, Dr. Bowman is dedicated to helping dentists from the US and internationally to achieve the highest levels of success and profitability in their practices.  In 2005 he founded Dental Insiders, which provides coaching, consulting, and training programs for dentists and dental team members. Dr. Bowman has authored numerous articles on practice growth, communications, marketing, and internal business strategies.  He has been a contributor to Dental Economics, The Profitable Dentist magazine, 1000 Gems, and several online dental publications and forums, including Dentistry IQ.  He has also shared the stage internationally as a dynamic speaker with many of dentistry’s leading speakers.
